Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. in Lakeville, MN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to transport freight in dock areas and assist with loading to trailers.

You will operate forklift and pallet jack, verify freight docs, secure loads, and complete required reports. Shift times 0400-1000 or 1700-2200 with starting pay of $26.04/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior warehousing/freight handling experience preferred.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and handle heavy freight.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat and push/pull freight.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck to handle freight.
• Verify freight documentation matches description.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and related documentation.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
