Job summary

FedEx Freight in Spokane is seeking a dock worker to transport freight across the dock area to and from trailers and assist with loading and unloading. You will operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck, verify freight documentation, and secure loads inside trailers.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Hours are 0500-1000 with starting pay at $21.16 per hour and potential to $24.75.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in warehousing or freight handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers.
• Verify freight documents for type, weight, and hazards.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, or rope.
