Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group is seeking a dispatcher to execute daily freight movement plans within an assigned area in Illinois/Florida. You will manage driver schedules, coordinate deliveries to gas outlets, and handle orders from suppliers and dealers while delivering frontline customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma and about 2 years of dispatching experience, with strong communication and conflict-resolution skills to support efficient operations and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of dispatching experience.

• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for orders, inventory updates, and team communication.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
