Job summary

You will enter data in AS400, support sales education with shippers, and conduct pricing-related studies as directed. Regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• At least four years trucking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NMFC classifications, rating and/or OS&D preferred.
• Strong math skills and high accuracy in data handling.
• Minimum 40 wpm typing speed.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Ability to lift ~20 lbs as needed.
• Compliance with company policies and conduct.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and meet deadlines.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Check accuracy of freight descriptions during peak movement periods.
• Determine proper NMFC weight classes and correct errors from inspections.
• Encourage reweighs and document corrections with supervision.
• Enter data into the AS400 system using weights and measurements menus.
• Assist sales personnel to inform shippers on proper description and packaging.
• Conduct special studies to support pricing decisions.
• Attend work as required and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
