Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Analyst in Anderson, IN to manage customer data and optimize freight routes for cost efficiency. You will be the advocate for assigned customers, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to drive transportation improvements.

The role requires 1-3 years in logistics or finance, strong problem solving, and solid communication. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities to impact client outcomes directly.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 1-3 years of transportation/logistics or financial experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to process data.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication abilities; self-sufficient and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer shipping data to drive improvement and obtain optimum effectiveness.
• Build and review internal or customer KPIs, then act to drive efficiency.
• Present analytical findings to the client or Carter LOGISTEED’s executive team.
• Maintain contact with customers to provide analysis and obtain feedback for improvement focus.
• Work closely with Carter LOGISTEED departments to initiate savings projects.
• Facilitate and lead customer onboarding.
• Monitor route network to increase truck efficiency.
• Track premium transportation through reporting to reduce future impact.
• Work with pricing to develop quotes for potential clients.
• Provide internal reporting as requested.
• Work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
