Global Partners LP seeks a Commodity & Freight Payable Specialist to manage accounts payable for Trading and Marketing. You will reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams in a fast-paced office in Newton, MA.

The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and proficiency in Excel/Word, with a focus on timely processing and SOX compliance. Excellent communication and adaptability are essential for success in this position.

Competenze

Associate degree in accounting preferred; a high school education is required.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to learn and efficiently use new software applications.
Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment with shifting priorities.

Mansioni

Process payable matching between system transactions and third-party documentation.
Monitor tolerance write off activity for reasonableness relating to payable invoices.
Timely resolution of all discrepancies during reconciliation.
Work with vendors and internal teams to obtain credit and rebills.
Ensure automated activity is processed and resolve reported issues.
Maintain accounts payable paperless file system.
Comply with SOX policies and procedures.
