Job summary

CMA CGM, via CEVA Logistics, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, TX to ensure accurate, timely Procure-to-Pay cycles across multiple entities. You will reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relations while upholding internal controls and compliance.

The role emphasizes data integrity, process improvement, and collaboration with Operations and Shared Services to support financial operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and invoice workflow tools.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP principals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Operations, GBS, and vendors to resolve invoicing issues.
• Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment holds, and accrual issues.
• Manage vendor inquiries, escalations, and disputed invoices.
• Oversee vendor reconciliation processes including SOA reviews.
• Execute core AP activities including mail management and urgent payments.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with P2P policies.
• Lead improvements in audits, system enhancements, and process standardization.
