Responsibilities

• Sales & Acquisition: Contact new customers and drive customer acquisitions.
• Relationship Building: Develop and grow profitable volume with existing and new shippers; build relationships with developing accounts.
• Consultation: Use strong relationships to understand customer needs and identify solutions.
• Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Capacity Growth: Build relationships with carriers to increase capacity for projects and lanes.
• Pricing Strategy: Stay informed on market freight rates to determine fair prices for trucks and for shippers.
• Rate Negotiation: Negotiate based on guidance from senior brokers and management.
• Solutions: Propose carrier/customer solutions to senior brokers or management.
• Daily Management: Perform daily check calls on loads in transit and prepare required freight bill documentation.
• Core Logistics: Handle freight brokerage and load bookings.
• Standards: Uphold company principles: Customer, Company, Office.
