Job summary

LDi seeks an Agent Development Manager to onboard, train, and coach new freight broker agents joining LDi as independent contractors. This role focuses on accelerating ramp‑up, ensuring compliant onboarding, and building productive agent relationships.

You will coordinate with internal and external teams, supervise the training process, schedule freight deliveries, arrange motor carrier pickups, and participate in weekly meetings to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in transportation brokerage.
• Confidence to network and develop relationships.
• Self-motivated, energetic self-starter with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coach new freight broker agent accounts through the implementation phase with LDi.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external teams to manage freight broker agent engagement.
• Maximize freight broker agent efficiency by ensuring onboarding and training completion.
• Train, educate, and assist new freight broker agents on applications, processes, and procedures.
• Offer operational assistance, including scheduling freight deliveries and arranging motor carrier pickup shipments.
• Review account updates weekly with internal team members.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings.
