Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in truckload dispatch or freight brokerage operations.
• Solid understanding of DOT laws and transportation compliance.
• Experience using freight booking platforms such as Truckstop or DAT.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to adapt to market changes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, self-starter with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage carrier assignment, driver dispatching, and daily load execution.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure reliable capacity.
• Negotiate carrier rates and manage costs in a dynamic freight market.
• Proactively track shipments and communicate updates to customers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT laws, regulations, and internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, quotes, and carrier performance.
