Job summary

Hermann Services, Inc. in Houston, Texas seeks a full-time Freight Billing Analyst to create and issue invoices, coordinate delivery documentation, and maintain customer records. You will collaborate with operations and A/R to resolve short-paid invoices and support overall billing accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, data-entry proficiency, and solid knowledge of MS Excel/Office; trucking industry background is a plus. Competitive benefits and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent data entry skills including alpha-numeric and 10-key.
• A minimum of 2 years experience.
• Previous background knowledge of trucking industry a plus.
• Knowledge of Seafreight/Drayage invoicing a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office products.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI).
• Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation.
• Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation.
• Organize and categorize billing documents.
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
• Update the customer master file with contact information.
• Work with Accounts Receivable Specialist to research any short paid invoices.
• Positively promotes Hermann Services to existing and potential employees and customers.
• Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Other Duties as assigned
