Job summary

Hermann Services, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Freight Billing Analyst to manage invoicing and customer communication. You will issue invoices via paper, email, web portal, and EDI, and update customer records to ensure accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, 2+ years of experience in billing or A/R, and familiarity with MS Excel and MS Office. Experience in trucking or freight invoicing is a plus, with comprehensive benefits available after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent data entry skills including alpha-numeric and 10-key.
• A minimum of 2 years experience.
• Previous background knowledge of trucking industry a plus.
• Knowledge of Seafreight/Drayage invoicing a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Products.
• TMW, Mcleod and Great Plains experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI).
• Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation.
• Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation.
• Organize and categorize billing documents.
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
• Update the customer master file with contact information.
• Work with Accounts Receivable Specialist to research any short paid invoices.
• Positively promotes Hermann Services to existing and potential employees and customers.
• Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Other Duties as assigned
