Capacity Express Inc. is expanding nationwide and seeking experienced Freight Agents who will own their book of business while leveraging a growth-oriented platform.

This is a non-traditional broker role with technology, back-office support, a carrier network, and tools to help you focus on relationships and moving freight. Ideal candidates value independence, enjoy negotiating rates, and can operate autonomously across multiple customers and shipments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or transportation services.
• Strong understanding of truckload operations and freight movement.
• Experience sourcing and managing carrier relationships.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to operate independently while managing multiple customers and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and manage your own customer portfolio.
• Generate new business opportunities and maintain shipper relationships.
• Secure freight and negotiate rates with customers and carriers.
• Source and manage qualified carrier capacity.
• Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Manage margins and maximize profitability.
• Ensure excellent customer service and operational execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and business partners.
