Job summary

Tyson Foods in Rogers, AR is hiring for a role on ALL SHIFTS with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. The position requires you to work in a cold storage environment (-10°F) for long hours and handle heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include cleaning, pallet handling, debris removal, and basic equipment maintenance, with opportunities to train on other jobs in the facility. This role is part of Tyson Foods' safety-first operations and offers relocation not applicable.

• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and/or vacuum vestibules, aisles and bays in cold storage freezer.
• Sweep and/or vacuum dock.
• Clean and return equipment.
• Clean walls of vestibules, dock, cold storage freezer, and vestibule curtains.
• Pick up and properly dispose of all debris on floors of dock and in cold storage freezer.
• Stack up and place all bad pallets in designated area.
• Place all trash in compactor.
• Place all condemned and/or exposed product to rework area.
• Report all damaged product to supervisor.
• Train on other jobs in facility.
• Follow all safety rules.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Sunday - Tuesday: 0600-1800

Wednesday: 0600-1200

B Shift

Sunday - Tuesday: 6:00pm - 6:00am

Wednesday: 6:00pm - Midnight

C Shift

Wednesday: Noon - 6:00pm

Thursday - Saturday: 6:00am - 6:00pm

D Shift

Wednesday: Midnight - 6:00am

Thursday - Saturday: 6:00pm - 6:00am

Physical Requirements:

• Must be willing to tolerate continuous physical labor in a cold (-10 degrees F), humid environment (9-11 hours per day).
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds to stack pallets on a continual basis (9-11 hours per day).
• Must be willing to perform proper lifting techniques, including continually bending at the knees to lift with the legs and pivoting to avoid twisting (9-11 hours per day).
• Must be willing to work quickly and efficiently (9-11 hours per day).
• Must be willing to walk a great deal manually sweeping, reaching underneath bays (9-11 hours per day).
• Proficiency in reading and writing.
• ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
