Job summary

Methodist ER New Braunfels seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department. The RN collaborates with medical providers, documents care promptly, and advocates for patients and families in alignment with departmental standards.

The role requires ACLS/BLS and related certifications within specified timelines, plus an RN with an Associate/Bachelor degree or RN diploma.

Qualifications

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Documents care administration in the patient record promptly.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment, meds, and follow-up.
• Instructs on non-medical follow-up like diet and exercise.
