Job summary

Methodist ER Boerne, part of Methodist Healthcare System, is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts in the Freestanding ER. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and support clinical outcomes aligned with organizational values.

You will assess, treat, document, and educate patients while maintaining safety and comfort in a fast-paced ER environment.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required or eligible.
• ACLS, BCLS, TNCC, ENPC and PALS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Minimum 6 months of licensed RN experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered RN care in the ER.
• Assess pain and manage it, with timely reassessments.
• Documents nursing actions in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, medications and follow-up.
