Job summary

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, is seeking a Freelance Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist (AR/AP) to own end-to-end client billing, reconcile budgets, POs, actuals and labor hours, and collaborate with account teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This hybrid role requires local SoCal presence.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in finance, a finance or accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and the ability to draft a P&L, manage AR collections and vendor

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience in finance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of billing and accounting concepts and processes.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet firm deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client billing across media and production projects.
• Reconcile client budgets, POs, actuals, and labor hours.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Manage AR collections and vendor payments.
• Prepare monthly close reports for clients and the company.
