Job summary

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a seasoned Supervisor to lead the Finance team’s client billing, AR/AP reconciliations, and month-end close. The role includes forecasting, KPI reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely payments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in accounting/finance, knowledge of advertising or production, and strong Excel/Power Query skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance, in a similar role.
• Experience in Advertising or production industry preferred.
• Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Power Query.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Ability to work overtime, especially at month-end.
• Strong knowledge of billing and accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage Month end closing P&L reporting.
• Process monthly billing transactions and reconcile against budgets & PO’s.
• Forecasting and budgeting support.
• WIP Monitoring and ledger reconciliation.
• Review and process expense reports on a weekly basis.
• Collaborate with internal teams regularly regarding any invoice discrepancies.
• Work closely with Business Affairs and Accounts for timely billing and accrual reconciliation.
• Prepare internal and client accruals on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
• Follow up with client on a regular basis to maintain healthy Aged AR/AP balance.
• Review & process weekly mass payment batches to vendors.
• Prepare monthly reports for internal departments and clients.
• Supervise staff on team, assisting with daily tasks and reviewing deliverables.
• Evaluate internal processes and provide insight for process efficiency as needed.
