Job summary

Heim is recruiting for freelance phlebotomists to join a team delivering blood tests in patients' homes across South Wales. You will work with a Clinical Operations Team and log activities via our digital platform.

Flexible hours and a focus on work-life balance are emphasized. The role requires at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience, a valid DBS (enhanced) including child and adult, full driving licence and access to a vehicle, plus fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience
• DBS Disclosure (enhanced, child and adult)
• Insurance: Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required)
• References: 2 referees, at least one from recent employment
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle
• Language: English fluency required

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests and domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner with app support
• Seek advice from Heim Clinical team for matters outside your scope
• Ensure domiciliary samples are posted or delivered to hub on time
• Document tests in patient records
• Report risks to the Heim Clinical team and follow protocols
