Job summary

Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists to join a team delivering blood tests mainly in patients' homes across the Yorkshire area. You must be able to commit to at least 8 hours per week between 7am and 12pm, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as patient demand requires.

The role requires travel with your own car; strong organization and excellent communication with patients and the Heim Clinical team are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS Disclosure of convictions (enhanced, child and adult).
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Fluent English (required).

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests during domiciliary visits, as a lone practitioner with telephone and mobile app support.
• Seek advice from Heim Clinical team for matters outside your responsibility or knowledge.
• Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or delivered to the hub in time for courier collection.
• Document tests in the patient’s medical record.
