Job summary

Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists to perform domiciliary blood tests across London. You will join a team of phlebotomists, reporting to the Clinical Operations Team to ensure timely completion and accurate record-keeping.

The role is ideal for an experienced phlebotomist seeking flexible hours and home-based visits. Applicants must have at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience, a valid DBS (enhanced) and personal indemnity insurance.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
DBS disclosure required (enhanced, child and adult).
Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
References: 2 referees, at least one from your recent employment.
Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
Fluent English (required).

Responsibilities

Carry out blood tests during domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner with phone and app support.
Seek advice from Heim Clinical team for matters outside your scope.
Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or brought to the hub in time for courier collection.
Document blood tests in the patient’s medical records.
Report risks to the Heim Clinical team and seek guidance on identified risks.
Operate in accordance with company protocols and guidelines.
