Job summary

Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists to join a team delivering blood tests at patients' homes across Merseyside. The role requires a strong track record, reliability, and the ability to work 8 hours per week between 7am-12pm, with flexibility for additional shifts to meet patient demand.

You must have a minimum of 12 months phlebotomy experience, a DBS enhanced disclosure, and a valid driving license with access to your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• 12 months phlebotomy experience or more.
• DBS Enhanced disclosure.
• Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
• Two referees, at least one from recent employment.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests via domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner with app support.
• Seek guidance from Heim Clinical team for matters outside scope.
• Ensure domiciliary samples are posted or delivered to hub in time for courier.
• Document tests in patient medical records.
• Report risks to Clinical team and follow protocols and guidelines.
• Work as an integral part of the phlebotomy team and attend meetings when required.
