Job summary

Heim seeks freelance phlebotomists to perform domiciliary blood draws in the Bristol area. You will join an existing team, visiting patients at home and coordinating with our Clinical Operations Team to report on activities.

Applicants must commit to at least 8 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am–12pm, with flexibility to cover more shifts as demand grows. A valid DBS (enhanced) and professional indemnity insurance are required, along with a full driving license and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS disclosure (enhanced) required.
• Personal professional indemnity insurance evidence required.
• References: 2 referees, at least one from recent employment.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domiciliary blood draws and home visits.
• Coordinate with Heim Clinical team for guidance and risk management.
• Ensure samples are posted or delivered to hub in time.
• Document results in patient records.
• Report risks to the Heim Clinical team as needed.
• Adhere to company protocols and guidelines.
