Imprint seeks a Director of Fraud Strategy to own fraud prevention outcomes across new accounts, first-party and transaction fraud. This senior leadership role demands executive-level influence, deep technical fluency, and a strategic mindset to guide fraud controls and team performance.

You will partner with modeling, engineering, and leadership to align priorities, research rules, and drive fast, reliable decisions in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of owning fraud loss outcomes in a leadership role with P&L responsibility.
• Deep expertise in fraud prevention across multiple domains (new account, transaction, first-party).
• Industry background in fintech, banking, or payments where fraud is core scope.
• Able to read/write code (SQL, SAS, Python) or similar.
• Familiar with how ML models integrate into fraud decisioning.
• Strong communicator with cross-functional influence.
• Detail-oriented with operational depth and backup incident capabilities.
• Skilled at prioritizing high-impact strategic initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with card fraud controls and transaction controls (nice to have).
• Experience scaling fraud functions in high-growth environments (nice to have).
• Familiarity with fraud tooling and rule management platforms (nice to have).

Responsabilités

• Own fraud loss outcomes across new account, first-party, and transaction fraud, with accountability for team performance and strategic direction.
• Lead and grow a team of three direct reports (fraud leads) across domains.
• Serve as internal fraud strategy expert and thought partner across the organization.
• Define and evolve fraud controls framework balancing speed with complexity.
• Collaborate with modeling, engineering, and leadership to align on priorities and trade-offs.
• Champion valuable fraud initiatives with clear storytelling and advocacy.
• Communicate fraud risk and performance to executives in a compelling way.
