Job summary

Seacoast Bank seeks a Fraud/Security Associate to support the Fraud/Security Manager in Florida. You will identify, research, track, report, and resolve fraud issues while staying current on relevant regulations and enforcing bank policies.

You will help oversee program integrity, review alerts, and assist in training staff on loss prevention and fraud prevention techniques. This role emphasizes accuracy and collaboration with branches and law enforcement.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 2-year degree; 4-year degree preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in banking or law enforcement preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Loss Prevention experience.
• Strong familiarity with branch operations policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to analyze regulations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze fraud cases, verify information and enter into tracking system.
• Review alerts to mitigate losses and decide on appropriate actions.
• Provide follow-up for charge backs, counterfeit, kiting, and fraud trends.
• Coordinate with management and law enforcement as needed.
• Produce reports on recovery and fraud investigations for senior management.
• Assist in surveillance support and security program oversight.
