Seacoast Bank is seeking a Fraud and Security Investigator to support the Fraud/Security Manager. The role focuses on researching and resolving fraud issues, monitoring alerts, and maintaining regulatory awareness across bank operations.

The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in loss prevention, and the ability to coordinate with law enforcement. Office locations across Florida are supported with required training and ongoing development.

Formación

• High School graduate plus 2 year degree; 4 year degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in working in a bank or law enforcement environment preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Loss Prevention experience.
• Experience in an environment requiring detail input and review.
• Strong analytical, communications and decision-making skills.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret governmental regulations and regulatory guidance.
• Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research skills.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate, review and analyze fraud cases, examining data to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations and enter fraud files into tracking system.
• Follow up with management for explanations and discussions for appropriate action, including approving or denying claims and/or possible account closure.
• Assist in review and decisioning of alert solutions to mitigate losses.
• Provide follow-up with daily charge backs for counterfeits, kiting, forgeries and negative accounts to minimize losses.
• Work with management to identify incidents/trends and develop training for staff.
• Attend court as necessary to represent the bank and file criminal charges where appropriate.
• Provide reports and status updates on recovery and fraud investigations.
• Support reporting to Chex Systems and manage daily Chex inquiries for fraud alerts.
• Manage daily E-Funds report to review Chex Systems inquiries on new accounts for fraud alerts.
• Assist branches by providing video/images and support with surveillance system requirements.
