Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking an Operations Fraud Specialist to review mobile, RDC, ATM and branch deposits for potential fraud and to monitor Digital Banking transactions for suspicious activity.

The role supports training, testing, and implementation of process changes within a regulated banking environment. Responsibilities include reviewing checks via Direct Link Risk Review, handling fraud claims, and coordinating with branch personnel and the Fraud team on escalations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of banking experience, preferably in operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and guidance to team members.
• Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and goals for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to improve efficiency.
• Foster relationships for collaboration and communication within the team.
• Maintain procedures and process documentation for functional areas.

• Process fraud affidavits and provisional credits to customer accounts.
• Review deposit items for potential fraud across branch, mobile, RDC and ATM channels.
