Job summary

Polymarket is hiring a Fraud Operations Manager to build and run our Fraud Operations function. You will own workflows, SOPs, case management, and team performance, while managing a team of Fraud Analysts and BPO partners.

This is a build-from-scratch mandate. You will write playbooks, set escalation paths, quality standards, and routines, collaborating with CX, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Data to ensure effective detection and prevention.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on fraud, financial crimes, payments, risk, or trust and safety experience.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading fraud investigators or analysts.
• Experience building or rebuilding fraud operations workflows, SOPs, and escalation frameworks.
• Deep working knowledge of fraud investigations and typologies (account takeover, identity theft, payment fraud, etc.).
• Experience managing high-volume operational queues with clear metrics and QA/QC.
• Strong analytical mindset using metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience managing BPO or outsourced teams with performance management.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment where structure is built, not inherited.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage end-to-end fraud operations workflow, including routing, prioritization, investigation steps, documentation, escalation, and closure across fraud typologies.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Fraud Analysts, covering workload allocation, quality reviews, and training.
• Establish and own SLAs, queue health metrics, case aging targets, analyst productivity, and QA/QC processes.
• Oversee fraud BPO and outsourced partners, including onboarding, training, quality monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Identify bottlenecks and repetitive steps, then work with Product/Engineering to fix them, including AI/automation for enrichment and triage.
• Partner with Fraud Strategy, Data Science, and Compliance to translate findings into stronger detection controls and clearer criteria.
