Job summary

Félix is seeking a Fraud Lead for Consumer Lending to architect and guard the unit economics of our Send Now Pay Later product. You will own fraud prevention frameworks across WhatsApp interactions and cross-border lending, reporting to the Head of Credit Risk with dotted lines to the Fraud Organization.

You will build detection models, design policy and blocking workflows, and partner with Data Science and Operations to scale secure growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fraud risk strategy and prevention in consumer lending or BNPL.
• Advanced SQL and data manipulation to analyze transactional logs.
• Experience with modern decision engines and ML risk models in production.
• Knowledge of fraud attack vectors, ATO, and synthetic fraud.
• Strong cross-functional communication to translate risk into business outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with rapid policy execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, launch, and refine fraud typologies for the WhatsApp lending ecosystem.
• Own repayment fraud, identity spoofing, and chargeback analytics for SNPL payments.
• Drive and own core fraud metrics across the lending vertical without hindering conversion.
• Own rule design and logic orchestration within decision engines and collaborate with Data Science to deploy ML risk models.
• Design, optimize, and scale automated blocking protocols and efficient manual investigations.
• Coordinate with Legal & Compliance to monitor SARs and system exploitation.
