Job summary

CGS seeks an Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting support for fraud investigations involving complex transactions and organizations attempting to evade detection. The role develops, coordinates, and drafts technical audit guidelines and collaborates across teams.

Candidates should be proficient with multiple accounting systems, perform data analysis, prepare reports and charts, and engage with financial institutions and public sector partners.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Citizenship and ability to obtain a suitable background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Audit a variety of accounting systems and data sources.
• Analyze large volumes of data (bank records, financials, healthcare claims, etc.).
• Assist investigations by planning, conducting analyses, and identifying relevant documents.
• Prepare concise reports, charts, and schedules of results.
• Confer with financial institutions and witnesses during investigations.
• Use databases to identify assets and evidence.
• Develop and issue draft audit guidelines for financial audits.
• Compile interim and final investigation reports for staff use.
• Coordinate secure storage and indexing of documentary evidence.
