Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking an Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving complex transactions and organizations attempting to evade detection.

The role includes developing technical audit guidelines, analyzing data across systems, and presenting findings with charts and reports. You will engage with financial institutions, CPAs, and other witnesses as part of investigations.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum three years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination, or statistical/data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for required background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and audit a variety of accounting systems.
• Organize and present large volumes of data such as bank and financial records using common software.
• Assist with investigations planning and perform quantitative/qualitative analyses.
• Prepare concise reports with charts, summaries, and schedules.
• Assist with conferences and interviews of witnesses and financial institutions.
• Utilize electronic databases to identify assets and evidence.
• Analyze ability to pay penalties based on disclosures and investigations.
• Develop and issue draft audit guidelines for financial audits and investigations.
• Prepare interim and final reports for staff and motions at trial.
• Arrange secure storage and indexing of voluminous documentary evidence.
• Compile and analyze documents and create charts/AV materials for motions and trials.
• Meet with federal/state officials as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
