Job summary

Sezzle, a fintech company based in the United States, seeks a Fraud & Disputes Intern to join a fast-paced team focused on analyzing disputes across card and ACH transactions. You will collaborate with fraud/risk and disputes teams, learn from data, and apply AI tools to streamline investigations.

The internship is full-time, paid, and expects you to work 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Investigate disputed card, debit, and ACH transactions.
Collaborate with fraud and disputes teams to determine next steps on a case-by-case basis.
Analyze transactions using internal policies to identify patterns or trends.
Understand systems and perform data analysis to detect anomalies.
Work with engineers to improve loss-prevention tools and processes.
Learn and apply fraud prevention techniques and domain knowledge.
Maintain or exceed SLAs for timely resolution of cases to minimize losses.
Handle escalations professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Leverage Claude or equivalent LLM tools to boost productivity and research.
