Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a senior analytics professional to own fraud performance for depository products, partnering with Product, Engineering, ML, and Risk teams. The role focuses on building data models, dashboards, and monitoring to reduce fraud losses and improve customer experience.

You will lead testing, rule optimization, and strategy evaluation while communicating insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Remote-first with flexible in-person options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analytics experience in risk, fraud, or data science.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency with analytics storytelling.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance metrics for depository products.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines (DBT).
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks for fraud performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to diagnose losses, false positives, and portfolio shifts.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Engineering, Fraud Operations, and Risk to improve fraud strategies.
