Job summary

affirm is seeking an experienced Analytics professional to own fraud performance for depository products. The role emphasizes cross-functional partnership with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Ops, and Risk to refine identity verification and fraud controls.

You will build scalable data models, dashboards, and rules to optimize fraud detection and minimize losses while maintaining a strong customer experience. The position is remote-first with nationwide flexibility in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analytics experience
• Fluent in SQL and Python
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and execution in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance for depository products, including monitoring losses and approval rates
• Build and maintain data models and pipelines with DBT for depository products, transactions, customers and fraud
• Define trusted fraud performance metrics and dashboards for portfolio health and risks
• Develop fraud rules, thresholds, and models to balance loss prevention and customer experience
• Partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Ops and Risk to improve fraud strategies and product launches
