Job summary

affirm in the United States is seeking an experienced Analytics Leader for Fraud to own fraud performance for depository products, monitoring losses, approval rates, false positives, and customer friction while shaping risk strategy.

You will build scalable data models and dashboards with DBT, define metrics, test strategies, and partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Operations and Risk to drive product-safe growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analytics experience.
• Strong product knowledge and curiosity to improve product effectiveness.
• Fluent in SQL and Python.
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance for depository products, monitoring losses, approval rates, false positives, customer friction, and other risk metrics.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and pipelines (DBT) for depository data and fraud-related data.
• Define trusted fraud performance metrics and analytical datasets.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks for portfolio health and risks.
• Develop and optimize fraud rules, thresholds, models and decision strategies.
• Evaluate new data sources signals to improve identity, device and transaction risk detection.
• Lead testing and measurement of strategy changes with pre/post evaluation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Ops, and Risk to improve fraud strategies and support new product launches.
