Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is expanding its franchise sales program, focusing on non-traditional formats such as Food Trucks and government/military channels. The role involves end-to-end deal ownership, highly collaborative selling, and building strategic partnerships with franchisees and procurement contacts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in franchise sales or business development, strong consultative skills, and comfort working autonomously in a newly created role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience with quota attainment in franchise sales or business development.
• Willingness to travel 25% to 40% for prospect meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in franchise sales, consultative selling for large opportunities, or franchise development roles.
• Prior experience managing new store openings and/or franchise transfers preferred.
• Familiarity with franchise agreements, FDD requirements, and franchisor approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales pipeline for non-traditional formats, starting with Food Truck and military base opportunities.
• Qualify, pursue, and close Food Truck Amendments and non‑traditional unit agreements.
• Build relationships with military exchanges (e.g., AAFES, NEXCOM, MCX) to create on-base opportunities.
• Collaborate with multi-unit franchisees to identify expansion in their territories.
• Develop sales processes, collateral, and deal structures in partnership with Legal and Franchise Development.
• Track pipeline health and report metrics to leadership; adjust targeting and processes as needed.
• Represent Nothing Bundt Cakes at trade shows and procurement events.
• Serve as SME on non-traditional formats as program expands into new channels (airports, universities, stadiums, campuses).
