Job summary

Leap Brands is seeking a Franchise Business Consultant to serve as the primary link between our clients and the franchise network. This role coaches owners to boost sales and reduce costs by operating units effectively, applying leadership to build productive partnerships that raise profits and operating standards.

The FBC will diagnose barriers, analyze key metrics, ensure SOP compliance, and assist with talent and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in field operations leadership within the food service industry.
• Proven ability to deliver results and influence decisions through strong negotiation skills.
• Experience consulting with and influencing business owners; advanced consultative approaches.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strong understanding of P&L statements, budgeting and controllable costs.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting operational goals, building sales and maximizing profits.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with franchisees to diagnose barriers and develop business plans to maximize improvement (operations, marketing, training, HR).
• Collect and maintain knowledge of key business metrics and analyze issues and opportunities for each restaurant and the portfolio.
• Ensure franchisee compliance with SOPs and develop corrective action plans with milestones.
• Assist franchisees with talent assessment and bench strength to meet business needs.
• Assist with developing and maintaining a capital plan for development and remodel obligations.
• Represent and advocate for franchisees with restaurant support center contacts.
• Understand programs and decisions to influence franchisees and secure buy-in; provide feedback on ineffective communications.
