Pet Wants is seeking a results-driven Director of Franchise Development to guide prospective franchise owners from first conversations through franchise award, educating them on investment, model, and ownership expectations while building trust and momentum.

You will lead consultative, relationship-driven engagements, manage a multi-stage qualification, and collaborate with leadership, Operations, Marketing, and Training to deliver a superior candidate experience and drive nationwide growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in consultative, relationship-driven sales.
• Experience guiding multi-stage sales processes from discovery to close.
• Strong discovery skills to uncover drivers behind decisions.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and closing skills.
• Comfort discussing financial considerations, ROI, and ownership implications.

Responsibilities

• Own the franchise development process from initial engagement through franchise award.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand candidates' goals, motivation, experience, financial readiness, lifestyle objectives, and ownership vision.
• Build relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the candidate journey.
• Educate candidates on the Pet Wants opportunity, business model, investment, support, ownership experience, and expectations.
• Assess mutual fit and help candidates determine alignment with Pet Wants and potential for success as franchise owners.
• Create momentum in the sales process with clear next steps, commitments, and ongoing engagement.
• Navigate questions and objections related to investment, financing, career transition, entrepreneurship, and ownership.
• Assess financial readiness, discuss investment requirements, available capital, and funding resources.
