Job summary

Restaurant Management Search is seeking a Franchise Business Consultant in Wilmington, NC, to lead franchise build-outs and partner with franchisees and vendors. Based in Wilmington, the role supports site selection, LOI stages, and brand standards during expansion across NC, SC, and beyond.

The FBC will manage project coordination from site assessment to completion, report progress, and communicate with the CEO/COO. Travel and on-call availability are required as the franchise network grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in some type of Restaurant Franchise relations/support role.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Be willing to travel.
• Be on call for Franchisees at all times unless on paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Manage Project Management Portal
• Review site selection, LOI stage, and locations under construction
• Assist Franchisees and their GCs to ensure brand standards are met during build-out
• Update the progress report after 6 months to reflect new strategies to enhance the process for franchisees
• Direct and coordinate the activities of each build-out to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget
• Proactively communicate project-related issues directly to the CEO and COO
• Examine construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Review bid results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other project information necessary to gain complete familiarity with the project
• Confirm and verify permitting requirements related to the project or program
• Prepare and provide weekly status reports for projects
• Proactively identify and resolve or elevate project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or qualification
• Represent the company in project meetings
• Develop and maintain relationships with Franchisees and vendors to help develop new opportunities
• Other duties as assigned
