Job summary

Scenthound is seeking a Franchise Development Manager to drive the growth of our dog-care franchise network. Reporting to the Director of Franchise Development, you will identify, qualify, and shepherd potential franchisees through the evaluation process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has a track record in franchise development or sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel for trade shows and discovery days. On-site HQ presence is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of franchise sales experience.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Experience with a CRM (Zoho) and Office 360 apps.
• On-site at HQ for team engagement, meetings and discovery days.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance franchise sales strategies and growth initiatives.
• Present franchise opportunities with enthusiasm and address business-related questions.
• Qualify and screen potential franchisees to meet standards and requirements.
• Map trade areas for prospective franchisees.
• Negotiate franchise agreements and coordinate onboarding of new partners.
• Collaborate with existing franchise partners and operations on territory alignment and expansion.
• Travel to trade shows, center visits, and future events as needed.
• Maintain records for each candidate and prepare KPI reports to project team outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with franchise regulations and guidelines.
