Qualifications

• 4-year degree in business management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of prior retail management with merchandising and inventory management experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with strong organizational and time management.
• High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, ethics, tact and diplomacy in all interactions with franchisees.
• Experience in P&L, balance sheet, and/or financial analysis is beneficial.
• Approximately 30% travel required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel in United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite and virtual store visits; provide operational guidance and document issues.
• Perform franchisee business analyses; provide evaluation and education; participate in region meetings.
• Monitor financial and legal responsibilities (brand standards, ongoing fees, renewals) for designated franchisees.
• Track store support activities in CRM for the region and report status.
• Promote Winmark’s Resale for Everyone mission and liaise with corporate and franchisees.
• Inform manager of issues requiring attention; provide periodic region reports on status and growth.
• Participate in franchisee training; develop curriculum; assist with conference sessions.
• Support special projects (conference planning, workshop development, publication design).
