Job summary

Winmark Corporation, a leading franchisor of resale brands, seeks a New Retail Store Development Manager to support franchisees opening new stores across North America, with up to 50% travel. You will help pre-opening operations, training, and ongoing development to ensure brand standards and strong store performance.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred in business management or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in retail operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other desktop applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel pre-opening to franchisee stores to ensure standards are met.
• Conduct virtual visits with franchisee stores to provide consultation.
• Provide timely reporting of franchisee store activity to training department.
• Enter detailed information in CRM software system on all new store development activity.
• Review and update existing training programs and tools for store openings.
• Provide training during Resale University weeks on store operations, buying, inventory and vendor relations.
• Assist with special projects and department priorities (real estate, conference planning, training video creation).
• Promote Winmark philosophies and strengthen relationships with franchisees and vendors.
