Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is looking for a part-time Retail Picture Framer in the Albany-Latham, NY area. You will help customers create custom framing solutions, assemble orders with high quality, and maintain a clean, well merchandised store environment.

You will handle cash, support omni-channel processes, and work nights, weekends and early mornings as needed. Prior retail experience is preferred and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment.
• Ability to operate a glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and help customers find framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and stock areas (SISO and replenishment).
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes and keep the store presentable.
