Job summary

Michaels Stores in Syracuse, NY is seeking a friendly retail teammate to help customers create custom framing solutions, answer questions, and maintain a well merchandised, in-stock store where shopping is easy and enjoyable.

You will complete framing orders with high quality and on time, operate the cash register, support omni-channel processes, and follow SOPs, safety programs, and shrink controls while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Follow SOPs and Company programs; support shrink and safety programs.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with omni-channel processes.
