Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Long Beach is recruiting for a Store Associate to assist customers, help them find framing products, and maintain a clean, well-merchandised store. You will operate the cash register, process transactions, and support truck unloading and stock replenishment.

Ideal candidates have basic computer and measuring skills, retail experience, and a customer-focused attitude. Evening and weekend shifts are common; benefits and store discounts are available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Preferred experience: retail experience and experience selling products/services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Build relationships with customers and provide custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in-store.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Unload trucks and stock shelves within budget.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and help locate products.
