Job summary

Michaels is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to help customers with framing needs and to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store environment. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, and support unloading and stocking activities while delivering a positive shopping experience.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, plus experience in retail or framing is a plus. Evening/weekend shifts are included in store hours.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions and deliver sales results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to meet standards and budget.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
