Job summary

Michaels in Irving, TX is hiring a FT Framing Manager to lead a team of framers and drive custom framing sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads, manage inventory and processes, and coach staff toward strong customer service and results.

You will oversee on‑the‑floor selling, ensure high‑quality framing solutions are delivered on time, and handle MOD duties while fostering a respectful, inclusive work environment and adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance to laws and requirements; ensure execution of policies and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their KPI targets.
• Review sales and production workload and plan time on the floor for networking.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; participate in Talent Development activities.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations.
• Interact respectfully with others and promote the company vision and values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes; follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Acknowledge customers and assist in locating products and solutions; support Omni channel processes.
