Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Lead in Saint Augustine, FL to guide a team of framers in delivering high-quality custom framing solutions while building strong customer relationships. You will partner with the Store Manager to manage workloads, inventory, and store performance, ensuring safe operations and excellent customer service.

The role requires leadership experience in retail framing or selling, strong people management skills, and a commitment to company SOPs and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: previous custom framing experience and retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure compliance to laws and requirements.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions; plan workload with Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team KPI achievement.
• Review sales and production workload; plan sales floor time and networking.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members.
