Job summary

The Michaels Hart-Southington store is seeking a Store Lead to oversee the framing team, coach sales staff, and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions. You will drive sales, manage daily operations, and ensure safety and SOP compliance while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will plan workload with the Store Manager, train new team members, supervise inventory and shrink programs, and act as MOD when needed. Evening and weekend shifts are common.

• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers and sales associates to build customer relationships and drive custom framing sales.
• Aspire to deliver high-quality framing solutions on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; participate in performance management.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs; ensure SOP compliance and a safe work environment.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support omni-channel processes.
