Job summary

Michaels Stores in Denton, TX is seeking a Store Lead Framer to coach a team of framers, build strong customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales. You will plan workloads with the Store Manager to deliver framing solutions on time.

You’ll interview, onboard, coach, and assess team members, support Talent Development, manage inventory, shrink and safety programs, and act as Manager on Duty. The role includes omni-channel duties and serving customers in a climate-controlled retail

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and policy execution.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage framing team KPI performance.
• Review sales and production workload and plan sales floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; support Talent Development and Performance Mgmt.
